Agreement
These terms govern your use of buukus.com and BUUKUS PMS. By using them you agree to these terms and our other policies (Privacy, Acceptable use, Subscription & billing, Settlement & payouts, Booking & refunds, Cookies, Security).
The service
BUUKUS provides software for hospitality businesses and a marketplace for guests. Properties are independent businesses; BUUKUS is not the provider of accommodation, food or events and is not party to the contract between a guest and a property, except where we collect payment on a property’s behalf as described in our payout policy.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep credentials safe and not share logins. You are responsible for activity under your account. Organization owners are responsible for the users they create and the access they give.
Subscriptions and fees
Subscriptions, free trials, limits and invoices are described in the Subscription & billing policy. Commission and payouts for escrowed bookings are described in the Settlement & payout policy.
Your content and data
You own the data you put into BUUKUS. You give us the right to host and process it to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to publish listings, photos and rates, and for complying with data-protection and tax laws that apply to you.
Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable use policy. We may suspend accounts that put the service, other customers or guests at risk.
Availability and support
We work to keep BUUKUS available and secure, and publish an uptime target where we offer one. Planned maintenance and events outside our control may cause interruptions. Web and desktop apps keep working offline and sync when the connection returns.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, BUUKUS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or for the acts of properties and guests. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You can stop using BUUKUS and export your data at any time. We may suspend or terminate for breach, non-payment or legal reasons. Provisions that should survive termination (payments owed, liability, data retention) do.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria unless mandatory local law says otherwise. Questions: support@buukus.com.
